Who we are

We, Ad and Karin have run a successful Bed & Breakfast in Kleve -Niederrhein in Germany for over 10 years. Since 2020 we have changed course and moved to this beautiful area, the Volcanic Eifel in Germany. In a beautiful location, we have completely renovated a building where we welcome you again in 2 beautiful holiday homes.

The Eifel is a popular area for motorcyclists, hikers and cyclists. But it is also an area of castles and fortresses, magnificent views and endless forests, but also of museums and amusement parks. With sufficient interest and good weather you can sign up for a painting workshop in the garden. Our hobbies are also hiking (forest bathing), textile work, drawing/painting and the oldtimer.

We would like to share this with you so that you can make your holiday a wonderful experience and memory. We hope to see you soon.

The Eifel Volcano is a protected nature reserve (UNESCO). In the vicinity are several dry craters and near the town of Daun are 3 Maaren. The Eifel has about 160 castles and fortresses. There is always something to do or see for all ages. E.g. Safari, wolf/eagle park, zoo, museums and much more. Various walking routes start right in front of the door. But doing nothing at all is also possible. Relax in our garden and enjoy the clean air, starry skies and/or go forest bathing. This of course is all up to you. We offer the conditions for a nice holiday and stay for everyone. We hope to welcome you soon.

Our Houses

Both houses have a private terrace and there is a large communal garden where you can enjoy our wonderful view and sometimes a deer or fox comes out of the woods. We have counted 37 species of birds, in short, nature is still quite intact here. There is also a large family table and BBQ where you all can use. (Please clean up after use).

House 1 is suitable for 2 persons and a baby / toddler, bed is ready.

House 2 is suitable for 2 to 5 people and a baby / toddler, cot is ready.

Each house is fully equipped, kitchen is fully equipped.

Pricing

From March 15th until November 1st

€ 90,= per night, each additional person € 20,= per night up to a max. of 5 persons.

From November 1st until March 15th

€ 85,= per night, each additional person € 20,= per night up to a max. of 5 persons.

From December 24th till Januari 1st

€ 90,=, each additional person € 20,= up to a max. of 5 persons.

Prices are valid from 01/01/2024

Check in/out days are on Mondays and Fridays, weekends, midweek, weeks or longer with a minimum of 3 nights. Check-in: 16.00-20.00. Check-out: 07.00-11.00.

Additional costs:: € 35,= cleaning. € 150,= deposit (this will be refunded to your account after cleaning if nothing is broken, this will be deducted from the deposit). House 2 for more than 2 people the cleaning costs are € 50,=

Additional Tourist tax, € 0,75 p.p.p.n.

House rules

Dogs and other animals are not allowed. It is not allowed to use the holiday homes as party accommodation in this nature reserve. Think of all the wildlife that lives in the woods around the house. Smoking is only allowed in the designated area outside. The house is not suitable for wheelchairs.
